Natalie, Guy, and Levi were in town for a family friend's wedding and we took every advantage we had to see them. We had fun cousin playing time on Monday and when Natalie planned a girls night out for downtown, we decided to stop by to say "hi."
"We" included the entire Gourley clan - Daryl and I, Aidan and Reese, and the dogs - Tyson and Haley. We got to spend a few minutes saying "hello" to Natalie's girlfriends before their delicious dinner at Mosaic (my recommendation - because it's my favorite). It was great to catch up with the girls - Daryl has known some of them his entire life and I have had the pleasure to get to know a few of them as well over the years. We hugged and wished them a great dinner and were on our way to continue the rest of our walk.
On our way back to our loft, the unthinkable happened - the Poo-Poo Platter! Any of you dog walkers out there know that the purpose of the "dog walk" isn't always for exercise and fresh air - it is your dog's bathroom break. Well, combine the dog walk and the sidewalk cafe and you've got yourself a Poo-Poo Platter. We always try to avoid the situation, but last night as we were walking past the Kitchen K sidewalk diners, nature called Tyson and he answered.

Oh my gosh! I've SO been there! So embarassing! I'm sure all of us city dog people have had this horror of a situation. You are not alone!
